eBay Issues - New Software Download
Following changes on eBay over the weekend, Tradebox have received notification that there is a potential issue for customers who utilise Multi Variation Listings (MVL) on eBay and use Finance Manager to link eBay items to Sage Product records.
This issue has occurred because the title of each sale downloaded no longer contains the variation extension in the downloaded description.
If you are using Tradebox Finance Manager to integrate eBay sales into Sage and you use MVL, you should do the following:
- Download instructions to install the latest build of Tradebox Finance Manager - V4.3.00629.0
- In the Sales Channel List double click on each eBay connection in turn to open the eBay record.
- Select Transaction Postings.
- Ensure the Mapping method is changed to SKU.
If you have previously used the Legacy Method or Title/Description Method to map the online item to the Sage Stock Code, there is a high probability that this will no longer be accurate.
If you use Multi Variation Listings (MVL) on eBay you WILL need to map online sales using the SKU/Custom Label Field.
