Tradebox rate restructure – Price freeze clarification
Following our announcement yesterday regarding the Tradebox price restructure we wanted to clarify the following:
The new published rates will NOT take effect until 1st November 2011. All licence renewals prior to 1st November 2011 will be invited at the old rates. For example;
- if your next renewal is due in March 2011 the new rates will not take effect until March 2012
- If your next renewal is due in September 2011 the new rates will not take effect until September 2012
We do appreciate that this is a significant increase and as such we have tried to be sensitive to our existing customers by implementing a 1 year price freeze on all renewals.
The decision to increase our prices was not taken lightly and we completely understand that many of our customers may feel aggrieved. Unfortunately it has become impossible to maintain the high level of customer service that has become associated with our products within the old pricing structure. The new price allows Tradebox to maintain its focus on excellence in customer support and to invest significantly in R&D. Ultimately this will enable us to roll out changes to the software which will help streamline our customer’s business processes and reduce financial overheads.
Although the Tradebox licence is paid annually, we feel the equivalent monthly price of the new rating structure still reflects good value considering the benefits the software provides our customers and the costs it can save them.
Tradebox do value your custom and hope that you will continue using the software in the future.

Still worth every penny! £600 per year or 15k for the cost of staff to manually raise orders - no contest

Although like most small businesses in these trying times and trying to keep costs to a minimum , this is one product that is worth every penny in my opinion. Without it I wouldnt know where we would be , other than up to our ears in paperwork ! And I think as it is constantly being developed it remains a very worth while investment. Your increase in comparison to the PAYE and NIC increases round the corner for staff , well just no contest. Tradebox remains error and trouble free and runs effort

Customer service is superb, product is too. If people don’t like paying for it they can pay a teenager £5000 a year to manually enter all their data incorrectly can’t they. Keep up the good work
